Mojave National Preserve

Description

Out on the corner of a butte, with full view of the landscape to the east and south, native peoples marked these rocks as if positing a billboard with a message to the world. What were they trying to say?

Drive out to Hole-in-the-Wall Visitor Center at Mojave National Preserve, then walk about 0.3 miles southeast on the Rings Loop Trail. The artwork lies on the southeast corner of Banshee Peak.
