Mega Road Trip to Far-Eastern Canada, May 23
May 23

Day 2 -- May 23, 2014. Albuquerque

Lots of running around town being busy and having fun, with the highlight being a stop at the Rio Grande Nature Center. We saw about 30 species of birds (including Greater Roadrunner, Summer Tanager, and lots of Black-chinned Hummingbirds), three species of turtles, and some pretty dragonflies. Between rain showers we went outside and birded under towering cottonwood trees, but otherwise the indoor viewing area was perfect for the day.
