This has been a difficult year, and I've found that trying to write about it has been difficult, hence the procrastination and late newsletter.

On this long, cold night of winter, I'm out in the desert sitting in my Jeep, all alone in the vastness of the universe. I see millions of stars above and frozen ground below, but not a light or sound of the human cacophony that exists out there. I probably won't see another human for three days. Out here, cut off from others of my species, I feel a peaceful calm that gives me time to work on things I feel are important while letting my mind wander to curious places...
