General: Regal Earth-Boring Dung Beetles (Bolbocerastes regalis) are Scarab beetles recognized by their elongate to oval, shiny body and unequal, independently movable tarsal claws (most obvious on the hind legs). The antennae have 11 segments, the last three of which form a club. These beetles have short horns.
