Short-horn Walkingstick (Parabacillus spp.)

General: Short-horn Walkingsticks (Parabacillus spp.) are wingless insects with extremely long and slender bodies and legs. Walkingsticks are appropriately named because they look like sticks. Walkingsticks mostly live and feed on plants where they can be very hard to see despite their large size for a bug.

Taxonomy: Order Orthoptera (Grasshoppers, Mantiss, Cockroaches); Family Phasmatidae.
