Southwestern Black-Headed Snake (Tantilla hobartsmithi)

Range: Occurs in disjunct populations across the southwestern deserts from California to Texas. In Nevada, this species occurs in western Clark County and southern Nye County (into Inyo County in California). Populations also occur in northwestern Arizona, southern Utah, and southern California.
