Glossary -- Quail Guzzler |
Quail Guzzler. A constructed water catchment and storage device used to provide water for wildlife, primarily upland game birds such as quail, but other small animals and birds use them too. Large animals are fenced out. A variety of quail guzzlers have been built in the mountains around southern Nevada, primarily by the Nevada Division of Wildlife and primarily for the benefit bird hunters. See also Sheep Guzzler. |
