Overview

Deep within Death Valley Wilderness Area, Sidewinder Canyon is a moderately strenuous hike up a steep gravel wash to several amazing narrow slot canyons that cut into the walls of the main canyon.

Presented here are photos of Slot Minus Two. Slot -2 is the first of the side canyons encountered while hiking up the main wash. This slot is not particularly deep or narrow, but it does have a nice chockstone, and it provides a route to get above the cliffs that border the main wash.
