Overview
The Stanley B Springs Trail runs up an old road to an area of springs at the confluence of two canyon. The confluence is a good place to relax in the shade and watch the many birds that come in for water. In the west fork above the confluence, water trickles down the canyon from the official Stanley B Springs.
From the confluence beneath the mining claim sign, a use-trail ascends the narrow canyon to the west. The route stays in the bottom of the canyon, passing a low waterfall to a flat area dug out of the right hillside. The use-trail continues up the canyon, but this is a good place to stop and watch the birds. |
