Overview
Red Rock Campground is a typical public campground with vault toilets, drinking water, tent pads, picnic tables, fire pits, and shade structures at all group sites and half of individual sites. There are 71 individual campsites (including 14 walk-in, 5 RV, and 3 accessible sites) and 7 group campsites. Walk-in sites don't have campfire rings, shade structures, or tent pads. Individual campsites are first come, first served; reservations are not accepted. Link to official BLM website for details.
The campground is closed during summer when it is too hot to camp (from about Memorial Day to Labor Day). Otherwise, the cost is $15 per night in the individual campsites, with a limit of 10 people. Group campsites cost $40 per night and are available through reservation.
