General: Nuttall's Linanthus (Leptosiphon nuttallii ssp. pubescens) is a low-growing, perennial forb with prickly leaves, reddish stems, and white, 5-petaled flowers.
Granite Nuttall's Linanthus is a common component of the desert vegetation communities in montane habitats in the Yellow Pine (Transition), Pine-Fir (Canadian), Bristlecone (Hudsonian), and Alpine Tundra (Alpine) life zones. Look for this species up on Mt. Charleston.
