General Description: White Ibis (Eudocimus albus) are wading birds with long legs and a long, thin, decurved bill. Breeding birds are white with a red face, red legs, and red bill. The wings are white with black tips. Juveniles are dark above, light under, and have a pink bill and pink legs. Ibis fly with the bill and legs outstretched.
Favored Habitat: Ponds, marshes, salt flats, lawns.

Where to Find: Don't look for White Ibis around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them from south Texas to Florida and points south. Ding Darling NWR and the City of Dunedin are good places to see these birds.
