Where to Find: Don't look for Snowy Plovers around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them on the coast during winter. However, they migrate from South America to the Arctic, so keep an eye out for them at places like the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, the Pahranagat Valley, and the Overton Wildlife Management Area. In 2011, a pair bred at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve.
