General Description: Great Kiskadees (Pitangus sulphuratus) are large, sexually monomorphic flycatchers. Overall, they are dark above and yellow below. The face is black-and-white striped, and the crown is yellow.

Favored Habitat: Open woodlands with perches from which to catch flying bugs, often near water.

Where to Find: Don't look for Great Kiskadees around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them in South Texas and southward to South America.
