General Description: Blue Jays (Cyanocitta cristata) are noisy blue jays with
a crest that they can put up or down. The upper parts are blue, the lower parts are white, and the face is black, white, and blue.
Taxonomy: Passeriformes, Corvidae.
Favored Habitat: Eastern forests.
Where to Find: Don't look for Blue Jays around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them out east from about central Canada to Texas and eastward.
