General Description: Tufted Titmice (Baeolophus bicolor) are small, gray sexually monomorphic songbirds. They are crested, plain gray above, a little lighter under, with a beady black eye and a bit of orange along the flanks. They make up for their small size with a big voice.
Taxonomy: Passeriformes, Paridae.
Favored Habitat: Evergreen and deciduous forests at mid- and lower elevations.
Where to Find: Don't look for Tufted Titmice around Las Vegas. Rather, look for them in the eastern US.
