General Description: MacGillivray's Warblers (Geothlypis tolmiei) are sexually dimorphic songbirds. Adult males are yellow-green overall with a dark gray hood, a black chin, and a broken white eye ring. Females are a dull version of the male and lack the black throat patch.
Where to Find: Around Las Vegas, don't expect to see MacGillivray's Warblers anywhere, but Corn Creek is a good place to find them during migration. They mostly breed in the mountains and areas north of Las Vegas.
