Overview Cherry Creek Road is a well-maintained dirt road that normally is suitable for 2WD vehicles. Cherry Creek Road technically runs east from Cherry Creek (Quinn Canyon Range, across Garden Valley to Water Gap (Golden Gate Range) in the east. The road really starts in Railroad Valley on the west side of the Quinn Canyon Range, crosses over the range, passes a small campground, the historic townsite of Adaven, passes ranching houses and summer houses, and then crosses Garden Valley to the Golden Gate Range. Presented here are photos of eastbound Cherry Creek Road from Cherry Creek campground (technically on Sawmill Canyon Road) to Water Gap.
